為什么要去羨慕“別人家的孩子”英語作文寫得又快又好呢？我們自己也可以變成別人羨慕的對象呀！所以今天，老師就給這一群為了英語作文而苦惱很久的人支個招，下面的這四大原則你可要學以致用，不要看過就算學過！
一、主動分析3年來的高考英語試卷，從中找出經常考的內容
縱觀這3年的高考英語試卷，你會發現出題人最喜歡考的還是三大類：記敘文、議論文和應用文，找到了主要考查的方向，我們就要有針對性地去做準備工作。
首先，和語文一樣，敘述性的作文和語文作文是一樣的，六要素一個都不能少，不要以為老師閱卷時間短看得快就不知道，僥幸心理先收起來。最重要的一點是，前因后果一定要寫明白，多分幾個段落，只寫一個大段的作文，就算寫得再好，分數也絕對高不到哪兒去。
其次，寫議論文最重要的是中心主旨，明確你要講的事件中心點是什么，不要讓閱卷老師看完之后還產生你寫偏題了的錯覺，最好的方式就是中心點、論點、論證這樣依次寫下去，主次分明。
最后是應用文，這類作文你再觀察了大量的高考英語試卷以后就知道了，主要還是寫信，而寫信就有嚴格的寫信格式，信頭在什么地方，該用什么稱呼，結尾的結束語要用什么，最后千萬不要忘記署名，因為忘記署名而被扣分的學生我見過太多了。
二、重點練習書信類作文
書信類的作文，題材不限于邀請函、自薦信、感謝信、道歉信等等，這些信件的格式各有細微變化，建議在平時多準備幾篇類似的范文，腦海中存在范文的格式，最后考試應用上相應的考題內容。
同時，該類作文可能會和中國傳統節日接軌，例如重陽節、端午節、春節、七夕等等，所以我們要熟悉每一個節日的正確拼寫，不要在試卷上還出現春節等于“spring day”這樣的低級錯誤；除此之外，了解這些節日的習俗也很重要，端午節要吃粽子，七夕有鵲橋，春節團圓放鞭炮等。
三、高級語句+基礎語句=高分
作為一個要參加中考或者高考的學生，一篇25分的作文，全部使用最基礎不會出錯的語句固然穩妥，就算是資深老教師來評分也跳不出錯來，這本是好意，可是如果你的英語成績追求高分，那么全是基礎語句的作文不會給你帶來驚喜結果。
你的高級語句可以于名人名言，也可以于一個復雜的時態語句，整篇作文至少要出現一到三次，和基礎語句相結合，當然，既然是沖刺高分，請酌情使用在平時你寫得最滿意，且經過老師修改過的語句，這樣不容易出錯，要是考試的時候因為“炫技”而扣分就得不償失了。
四、提前打草稿，書寫很重要
無論是寫語文的作文還是英語的作文，老師都建議你提前打好草稿再去作文紙上落筆。這樣做的好處是什么呢？打草稿的原因很簡單，因為你可以提前確定好作文的主題中心主旨，并不是讓你全部寫好再謄抄上去，而是想好關鍵詞、修改好高級句子，最后再去紙上寫作文。
同時書寫也很重要，盡量不要寫讓人看不懂的花式英語，如果你的英文寫的不是很好看，那么就盡量一筆一劃寫得清清楚楚吧，作文最重要的是表達清楚，如果你寫得字體老師都看不懂，又怎么去給你評分呢？
